It's Been Awhile...

Hey Everyone!

Sorry it's been so long.  My internet was down for about a week and as soon as I got that working, my computer went nuts!  Anyways, we are back in progress!  Sebby is getting his first 2 teeth!  I suppose he should have them by Christmas (wink wink)!  He is getting so big!  I'm guessing he is about 17.5 pounds and he is as vibrant as ever!   He's sitting up with support, but not on his own (for very long).  Yesterday, my little man had a 6 month photo shoot!  They are available for purchase from the Olan Mills website.  You will also need to following information to see the pictures.

I will try to get more pictures of him up soon.  Daddy has been gone for 2 weeks and we still have another couple of weeks to go.  Mommy gets to take a special trip to Maui next weekend to visit daddy and take a ride on his submarine!  It will be his first sleepover! Also, I am planning to start a web gallery sometime in the near future, so everyone can see more pictures than what I put on this website.  I will keep you posted!  Aloha!

5 Month Update!

Guess who is going to be five months this weekend?!  I can't believe how fast time is flying!  We just had a visit with the doctor last week and he did so well.  He is 25 inches long and weighs 16.5 lbs.  He is in the 50th percentile for everything.   Yesterday, Grandma and Grandpa Serrano flew in for a visit.  They will be here for two weeks!  We are so excited!

Happy October everyone!  Sebby and I took a trip to a pumpkin patch today with some friends!  He was fascinated by all the huge orange pumpkins!  We went on a hay ride and he was so content.  He is such a good boy.  He's growing so quickly we pulled out all of his 6-9 month clothes.  My guess is he is probably around 15 pounds now.  He has a checkup at the doctor's tomorrow so we will find out all of his measurements then.  He is now rolling onto his stomach regularly and is sitting up very well (with support of course!)  We have been feeding him some fruits and veggies at least once a day now and he does very well.  He loves eating from a spoon.  So far he likes peas, carrots, and apples.  ALSO, you may have noticed the baby got a little haircut.  Dad decided he needed a haircut and when I got home one night his hair was gone.  That's really all that can be said about that...Grandma and Grandpa Serrano are coming in one week and we are all very excited to see them!  Hope everyone is doing well!

As I was typing this post, all fell silent and I looked over and caught him fast asleep in his jumperoo!

Little Chunker

Can you believe it?  Baby Sebby is 4 months old today!  He is growing so fast!  In this past week he has started eating oatmeal and today we started feeding him peas.  He loves eating off a spoon and he is so good at it too.  He is sleeping through the night, but not consistently.  He is continually "discovering his voice" by screaming at his Mom throughout the house - so cute!  We are so glad to have Daddy home; they love playing together.  Hope everyone is doing well! Aloha!

Three Month Update

Sorry, it's been awhile since I've last posted.  Dad has been out at sea for a couple weeks now, so it's just me holdin down the fort.  Sebby is getting so big!  He is about 14 pounds now.  He is gaining more control of his movements and is holding his head up pretty consistently.  He slept through the night for the first time last night!  Updates may be few and far between for a bit, still have about another month before Dad gets back, so my hands are pretty full.  Don't worry though, I'm still taking pictures and they will get on here sooner or later!  Hope everyone is doing well!

Seven Week Update

Can you believe he's already seven weeks old? Time is FLYING by and we adore our son more every day. Mom made him smile for the first time! He's getting so strong, I wouldn't be surprised if he starts walking early.



He's such a happy little boy!



We celebrated the 4th of July on the pier by Dad's submarine and watched fireworks with friends..he slept the ENTIRE time! He can sleep through anything...the hard part is getting him to fall asleep in the first place!



He loves helpin mom cook in his Bumbo chair - a gift from the Lord ;)

Hello All!

Sebby is almost 6 weeks old and Mom is just beginning her adventure in to motherhood.  Dad has headed back to work on the boat and Grandma just wentback to Michigan after a two week visit.  It was really great to have the extra help and to see the baby bond with his first grandparent.  Grandma took over nighttime baby duty during her stay to give Mom and Dad much needed rest, and I'm sure she's glad to be getting a good night's sleep once again.  We carted Sebby all over the island, from North Shore to the Arizona Memorial.  Leave it to Grandma to take him to his first state park, HAHA!  Sleeping through the night is now a thing of the past!  Sebby seems to be getting stronger every day.  He's really trying hard to hold up his head and is always pushing off of us with his arms and legs. We are working hard on a daily routine now that everything is back to "normal."
